In partnership with Morris Hospital and Healthcare Centers, the Morris Community YMCA will host its second annual Water Safety Day from 10:30 a.m.-noon on Saturday, June 1 at Goold Park. This family-friendly event will be led by the Greater Joliet Area YMCA Aquatics team.  This event is free and open to the community.

During this event, participants will:

• Take part in an interactive, dry land exercise centered on critical water safety skills
• Receive proper life jacket fittings for their child(ren)
• Enter raffles to win exciting prizes, such as free swim lessons and pool safety equipment

After the event, families are invited to spend the afternoon at the Morris City Pool and enjoy a complimentary lunch, courtesy of the City of Morris and Costco.  Admission is free with proof of Water Safety Day attendance.
