For 95 years, the Greater Joliet Area YMCA has been a mainstay in our community, providing much-needed programs and services for children, families, and adults living in Will and Grundy Counties. These past two years have been like no other in our organization’s history, but the Y’s commitment has remained the same – to always be here for our community when people need us most, with open arms and caring hearts.
As our community continues to recover from this global health crisis, the YMCA will be here to support children, families and seniors, as we have since 1926. But, we can’t do it alone. To ensure that the Y’s mission can continue to thrive and help those in our community who need it most, we need the support of charitable giving now more than ever.
Make a Tax-Deductible Gift to the Y Today
Charitable giving incentives approved by Congress will expire on December 31, 2021. Among other incentives, taxpayers taking the standard deduction can take a deduction of up to $300 ($600 for a married couple filing jointly) for cash gifts to charities like the YMCA. Although there are only a few days left in 2021, there is still time to make an impactful tax-deductible donation to the Y.
