The YMCA is teaming up with our partners at Joliet Junior College to offer a number of exciting culinary classes this fall. Open to the community, all classes will be held at the Joliet Junior College City Center Campus, which is located at 235 N. Chicago Street in Joliet.

NUTRITION ON THE GO (All Ages)
Date: Thursday, September 28
Time: 6-8 p.m.
In this class, you will learn how to pack the perfect snack to keep you fueled throughout the day. You will create several snack options to sample and take home. This class is open to all ages. Students under 15 should be accompanied by parent/guardian.

HEALTHY FALL CUISINE (Ages 15 and up)

Fall harvest brings an abundance of healthy choices to add to the table. Pumpkin, squash, sweet potatoes, eggplant, turnips, and apples are just some examples of the fall bounty nature provides. This class will teach you how to make a perfectly balanced, fall-inspired meal.

Grab your friends and enjoy a night out! Our Chef will demonstrate how to create BEERy delicious hors d’oeuvres for you to sample and pair with a complementing pilsner, ale, IPA, or stout. Alcohol will be served. Students must be over 21 to participate.
