The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is the key to getting free financial aid to help pay for your education beyond high school and is required for most types of financial aid, including scholarships! There will be a presentation on the importance of filling out the FAFSA, how to apply, and specific deadlines to know. There will also be time to work on your FAFSA and ask questions. Refreshments will also be served.

What to Bring:
-Laptop or electronic device (recommended, but not required)
-Your Social Security Number
-Your Alien Registration Number (if you are not a U.S. citizen)
-Your federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned. (Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.)
-Bank statements and records of investments (if applicable)
-Records of untaxed income (if applicable)
-A Federal Student Aid (FSA) ID to sign electronically. (Recommended to get this for both the parent/guardian and child prior to attending this workshop but not required.)
