At the Y, children learn values and positive behaviors, and can explore their unique talents and interests, helping them realize their potential. That makes for confident kids today and contributing and engaged adults tomorrow. And now, the Galowich Family YMCA will be offering a series of educational classes with STEAM Explorers.
STEAM Explorers activities will be designed for kids, ages 8-14, and provide participants an opportunity to explore the world of Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math with hands-on problem solving.

September 2 – Math: Baking Soda Bottle Rockets with Custom Bazooka
September 9 – Engineering: Make Your Own Glycerin Soap
September 16 – Technology: Coding a Lego Maze
September 23 – Arts: Art Canvases, Imagining the Future
September 30 – Science: Interactive Tarantula Session
Cost for this program will be $45 for facility members and $90 for community members. All those who register by August 27 will receive $5 off.*
