In line with new guidance issued earlier this week by the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), effective immediately, Y members and employees who are fully vaccinated will no longer be required to wear masks or face coverings at YMCA facilities.

According to the CDC, people are considered fully vaccinated two (2) weeks after receiving their second dose in a 2-dose series, or two (2) weeks after a single-dose vaccine. To maintain a healthy environment, all members and staff will still be required to answer health screening questions upon entering the YMCA.

YMCA programs held at offsite community locations, including our before and after school Kid Zone, Kid Zone PLUS, and Summer Day Camp programs, will be required to follow mask guidelines set forth by the host locations. Additional information will be shared with offsite program participants in the coming days.
