Each summer, nearly half of the children who attend Greater Joliet Area YMCA summer camp programs receive assistance through the YMCA’s financial assistance program. This wouldn’t be possible without the incredible generosity of our Y community. And over the last several weeks, supporters joined together to raise more than $31,000 to help send kids to YMCA camp this summer!
We want to thank everyone who made donation, shared one of our social media posts, or invited a friend or family member to learn more about the Y’s youth development work, as every contribution makes a HUGE difference for kids in our community. Thanks to this amazing generosity, our 2022 Send A Kid to Camp Campaign raised enough funds to cover 782 days of camp for families in need this summer.
