Summer's Cooler at the YMCA
At the C.W. Avery Family YMCA, we provide a safe, affordable and fun summer day camp program for youth and teens. YMCA Summer Day Camp offers kids a chance to have fun and develop new friendships while building a healthy spirit, mind, and body. Campers will enjoy up to ten weeks of summer fun full of swimming, sports, outdoor exploration, arts and crafts, and more.

Meet Our Camp Directors
Youth and Family Director Shannon Stawikowski and Youth and Family Manager James Wagner coordinate the nonstop fun that our campers experience each year. Shannon started her career at the YMCA in 2013 while James has worked with the Y's youth and family team since 2022.
"I love to see all the fun programs at YMCA Summer Camp come to life. The joy we bring to Y families is so rewarding and it's inspiring to see how our programs affect our community in such a positive way," Shannon.
"I'm so excited to see all the campers arrive each day and it is truly inspiring to see each child's growth over the course of a summer. The Y is an amazing place to help kids thrive," James.
