About Your Membership
Greater Joliet Area YMCA members may utilize amenities at its three YMCA locations. A member’s home branch designation and subsequent monthly membership rate will be determined by which branch the member uses most frequently.
Payment Options
Membership fees are payable through a Monthly Electronic Draft from a checking account or valid credit card. Drafts are ongoing until cancelled in writing by the primary member no less than 10 days prior to the draft date. Cancellations are accepted by fax, e-mail, mail, or in person. Those who prefer to pay their membership fee annually may do so by cash, check, or debit/credit. Membership fees are non-refundable.
Photo Identification
Photo identification and proof of residency is required for all adults.
Dependents
Dependents under age 26 who live in the same household may be included on Family Memberships. Photo identification and proof of residency may be required.

ADDITIONAL MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES
Community Membership
Community Members are invited to participate in YMCA fee-based programs and special events. Community Members can pay a daily facility usage fee to utilize the wellness center, gymnasium or pools, and pay up to twice the cost for YMCA programs. Community Members who choose to become Facility Members within the first two weeks of a session will receive a credit for the difference between the Facility Member and the Community Member price for remaining programs in which they are currently enrolled.
Community Plus Virtual
Community Members who would like access to our YMCA On the Go App can pay a $5 monthly access fee. All those interested must contact their local branch before dowloading the app. Learn more here.
Facility Usage
Residents who would like to utilize the amenities at the YMCA have the option of purchasing a Daily Pass. Upon entering the facility, all daily visitors must present a current photo ID and payment to our Membership staff. Those under the age of 18 must have a Parent/Guardian Authorization Form on file to utilize the Y. Daily visitors may be restricted during high volume times.
PLEASE NOTE: Beginning Monday, August 26 the C.W. Avery Family YMCA will return to welcoming daily visitors, including guests redeeming web passes, during all open hours.
