Friends and family of Tim Stetenfeld gathered on May 30 at the C.W. Avery Family YMCA to dedicate a garden and stone plaque in honor of Tim’s life and service to the Plainfield community. Those in attendance included Edward Jones associates, YMCA Board Members and Tim’s family members, including his wife Cathy. Tim, a Co-Chair of the YMCA Giving Gala and an Advisory Council Member of the C.W. Avery Family YMCA, unexpectedly passed away in January.

Tim was also honored at the 2015 Giving Gala on February 28. A portion of the funds raised that night were donated to the Timothy M. Stetenfeld Memorial Fund, which was established to ensure that Mr. Stetenfeld’s legacy will live on for generations to come through YMCA programming.

Tim was a true champion of the Y’s mission and an amazing friend to the community. He will be missed greatly and will never, ever be forgotten.
