Morris YMCA Voted Best Health/Fitness Club

Earlier this year, the Morris Herald-News gave readers the opportunity to vote for their favorite local businesses. And now, the results are in!

The Morris Community YMCA was voted the Best Health/Fitness Club in the Greater Grundy area.

One of the area’s leading nonprofits, the Y is strengthening our community through Youth Development, Healthy Living and Social Responsibility.

In December 2014, the Morris Community YMCA and Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers announced the formation of a partnership to enhance the health and wellness of Grundy County residents.

Under this multi-year plan, both organizations began working together to offer programs and services at the new temporary Morris Community YMCA location in downtown Morris, which opened to the public in January 2015.

As of June 2016, the Morris YMCA is home to more than 2,300 members.
