Helping Kids Flourish
At the Y, we believe that every child should have the opportunity to learn, grow and thrive. Through our innovative program Safety Around Water we partner with several local community agencies and schools to ensure that children in the Joliet area have the opportunity to learn to swim and enjoy recreation time at the Y.
Since the program’s launch in 2008, the Y has provided more than 10,000 free swim lessons for kids in Joliet. This is made possible through the generosity of local businesses and grantors, including the United Way of Will County.
