Programs with a Purpose
Our Youth Sports programs maximize the positive effects of athletics by emphasizing healthy competition and promoting teamwork. The Y focuses on the life lessons that can be learned from sports, and our coaches strive to instill a positive self-image in each player.
In the YMCA’s Youth Flag Football League, children and their families will enjoy the football experience every time they step on the field. Players will learn the fundamentals of football in a safe and fun environment. In this program everyone plays, and everyone has fun!
C.W. AVERY FAMILY YMCA
Practices will be held on weekday evenings beginning the week of August 19. Games will be played on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings beginning the second weekend of September. Each participant receives a football jersey to wear for all games. Anyone signed up after August 5 will not be guaranteed a uniform by the first game.

Preseason Clinics
Preseason clinics are available to all registered Youth Flag Football League participants at no extra cost. Pre-registration is required.
Ages 4-5: Wednesday, August 14, 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Ages 6-8: Thursday, August 15, 5:15-6:15 p.m.
Ages 9-11 and 12-14: Thursday, August 15, 6:30-7:30 p.m.
GALOWICH FAMILY YMCA
Practices will be held at the Galowich Family YMCA on weekday evenings beginning the week of August 19. Games will be played on Friday evenings and Saturday mornings at the C.W.
