Teen Wellness Center Certification
Teens, ages 13-15, who wish to have access to fitness equipment, cardio equipment, and group fitness classes in YMCA Wellness Centers ARE REQUIRED to complete a Teen Wellness Center certification class.
This 45-minute class will provide participants with comprehensive and informative training on how to properly utilize strength and cardio equipment. Participants will be required to pass a written and practical test the day of the course to receive their certification.
Teens who have completed the class will be required to wear a special wristband indicating certification when they enter the Wellness Center.
PLEASE NOTE: Members under the age of 16 will not be allowed to use free weights, cable machines, or plate loaded equipment. Members between the ages of 13-15 who have received their wellness center certification may participate in group fitness classes that do not use free weights.

Functional Agility Strength Training (F.A.S.T.)
Designed for tweens looking to enhance their health and well-being. This 5-week circuit-based class will help participants achieve increased strength, knowledge of core stability, improved flexibility, help with injury prevention, and cross training exercises.
